Italian Upper Intermediate Part 1 Course overview
Part 1 will re-examine the past tenses taught to you at intermediate level, before introducing you to you to the new tense congiuntivo passato, as well as the trapassato prossimo - otherwise known as the past perfect tense.
Using extracts from books and film, you’ll attempt to discuss and debate the characters and plot with your classmates, drawing on the vocabulary and skills you have acquired.
You will get to you know your tutor and peers through group work and discussions, supporting one another and practising your listening and speaking skills. This is the first module of the upper intermediate syllabus. You can join us for part 2 and part 3 to complete the course, if you wish to continue.
Who is it for?
To join us here, we ask that you can communicate at low CEFR B1 level or have studied for around 180 hours formally. You may have completed our full Intermediate (year 3) syllabus or studied with another provider. The eligibility section has more information.
